Army vs Saracens 

Gamindu Kanishka’s century put Saracens in control in their encounter against the soldiers who put up 350 all-out, batting first.

Saracens replied with 255/5 thanks to Kanishka’s unbeaten 103*, while Andy Solomons made a rapid 62 to put them in command.

Dushan Vimukthi who has been a star all-rounder this season, returned impressive figures of 3/58 in an otherwise poor bowling display.

Chilaw Marians vs CCC

Chilaw Marians pushed their overall rad past 200 to set up an enthralling day three in their encounter against CCC.

CCC who secured a first innings lead thanks to a special Lahiru Madushanka half century, made 206 all-out in reply to Marians’ 186 all-out.

Batting a second time around, the Marians fared much better as they managed to reach 227/7 with Yashoda Lanka and Harsha Cooray making half centuries.

NCC vs SSC

The clash of the neighbors seemed to be heading SSC’s way, thanks to a brilliant counter attacking century by Sandun Weerakkody.

Weerakkody smashed his way to an unbeaten 167* to help SSC reach 290/2 at stumps in reply to NCC’s massive total of 444 runs.

For NCC, it was skipper Angelo Perera who made a stunning double century while Dhammika Prasad captured three wickets in their bowling line.

Colts vs Tamil Union

Colts hit a daunting 615 all-out, courtesy of Avishka Fernando’s first day double-century, while Sangeeth Cooray also made a superb knock of 142. 

Hashan Dumindu and Jehan Daniel also chipped in with half centuries while Jeevan toiled hard to capture four wickets in his spell.

Tamil Union ended the day on 67/2 with Sithara Gimhan unbeaten on 25* and with two days remaining in the match.
