Army’s spirited 318/7 on the opening day against Saracens SC, held them in good stead with three days remaining in the match.

Their innings was guided by Himasha Liyanage and Dilshan de Soyza who both went on to make superb centuries.

Sanjula Ridma also hit an unbeaten half century late in the day, before Saracens hit back with a couple of late wickets to leave the game in the balance.
