Royalist Manula Perera’s 12 wicket match bag saw Royal register an innings victory while there were a few more interesting matches in the Singer U15 Div I tournament during the last couple of days. Here’s a brief look at those matches.

Royal College vs CWW Kannangara MV

Royal College dominated proceedings in their own backyard against CWW Kannangara MV and won the match by an innings and 161 runs. Harindu Palihawadana’s century guided the home side to a formidable first innings score of 276 runs in just 35.5 overs. Then came the star of match Manula Perera, who bagged 6 for 7 in the first innings and came back in the second innings to bag 6 for 20. A 12 wicket haul for this youngster, certainly a good prospect for the future.
