Mahanama College, Colombo booked their place in the final of the Under-19 Division 1 Tier ‘A’ Limited Overs Tournament 2025/26 with a comprehensive victory over Royal College, Colombo in their semi-final clash held today (15th October) at the BOI Grounds, Katunayake.
In a rain-shortened 32-over encounter, Mahanama College won the toss and elected to bowl first — a decision that paid off handsomely. Their bowlers maintained tight lines and lengths, restricting Royal College to just 117 runs.

The bowling unit was spearheaded by Dulnith Sigera and Sithum Vihanga, both of whom picked up two wickets apiece, ensuring Royal never gained momentum.
Chasing a modest target, Mahanama College made light work of the run chase, racing to victory in just 10.5 overs with nine wickets to spare.
