U19 All-Island Girls Cricket Final - Anula v Devapathiraja

Last year’s runners up of the Girls U19 Cricket tournament Devapthiraja College emerged as champions beating Anula Vidyalaya by 7 wickets.

Anula Vidyalaya took the option of putting runs on board first up and use the pressure of chasing in a final against Devapthiraja. Their plans were ruined by the bowling attack of the girls from Rathgama by affecting breakthroughs and not allowing Anula Vidyalaya to build any foundation up front. Anula was bundled out for just under 100 runs in 30 overs thanks to brilliant team effort by Devapathiraja.
