Four more matches of SLC Major Club T20 Tournament 2020/21 we’re worked off today at different venues in Colombo. Tamil Union and BRC managed to record victories in their respective encounters while the other two encounters ended without results due to the prevailing weather conditions.
Tamil Union C&AC registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win over Panadura SC as Sachindu Colombage (3/21), Shiran Fernando (2/18) and Isuru Udana (2/28) led the charge with the ball followed by a solid batting effort from national capped Sadeera Samarawickrama (43) and Sithara Gimhan (36).

Dushan Hemantha (58*) and Lahiru Samarakoon (57) showed an excellent batting display guiding BRC to victory in their Group A encounter against Badureliya CC. With this win, BRC moved to 2nd place in Group A recording 3 wins out of 5 matches played so far.
The encounters between Galle CC and Negombo CC, and Sebastianites C&AC and Navy SC ended without results as both matches were interrupted by rain.
