After being put into bat first, St. Sylvester’s College got off to a shaky start losing 4 top-order wickets for 78 runs. However, No. 6 batter Charuka Ayeshan rescued Sylvester’s College with a brilliant century.
Ayeshan stroked 109 runs off 88 balls with 14 fours and 2 sixes as St. Sylvester’s College posted 243/8 in the allotted 50 overs. Danupa Kodikara and Chamalka Bandara starred with the ball for Kingswood College picking up 2 wickets each.
