The fifth match day of the SLC under 23 division 1 cricket tournament ended today (9th July) as 10 matches were conducted in Colombo and its outskirts.

CCC, Badureliya CC, Navy SC, Colts CC, Tamil Union, Chilaw Marians, SL Ports Authority, Saracents, NCC and SCC recorded wins.

Akeel Inham of Negombo CC, Ron Chandragupta of CCC, Pasindu Isira of Colts and Sithara Gimhana of Tamil Union placed their names on the centurion’s column.

Colombo CC vs Air Force CC

Ron Chandraguptha top scored with 108 for Colombo Cricket Club as they brushed aside Air Force SC by 116 runs in the game played at Colombo Cricket Club Grounds.

Badureliya CC vs Lankan CC

Left-arm spinner Akash Senevirathne and former Royalist, Milan Abeysekara scored 95 and 80 respectively as they propelled Badureliya CC towards a well-orchestrated 19-run win against Lankan CC in their game played at Army grounds in Panagoda.
