Hayleys Group ‘A’, CDB, Fairfirst Insurance and HNB ‘A’ registered victories in the four encounters of the 33rd Singer-MCA Super Premier League – T20 Tournament 2026 played today (5th November).
Hayleys Group ‘A’ registered a comfortable victory over Amzet Lanka, powered by a breathtaking knock from Ahan Wickramasinghe. The right-handed batter produced a spectacular display of power-hitting, smashing 68 runs off just 27 deliveries, including 4 fours and 7 sixes, to headline Hayleys Group ‘A’’s successful outing.
CDB also secured a comfortable win over Colombo Aces, with Lahiru Madushanka and Shevon Daniel delivering outstanding individual performances. Madushanka wreaked havoc with the ball, claiming 6 wickets for just 17 runs to dismantle the Colombo Aces batting lineup. Shevon Daniel then took charge with the bat, blasting 70 runs off 46 deliveries, including 2 fours and 7 sixes, to guide CDB to victory.
Fairfirst Insurance overcame David Peiris Group ‘A’ via the DLS method in a rain-affected encounter.
