The 125th Annual Cricket Encounter between St. Joseph’s College and Royal College commenced today (08th April) at Reid Avenue.

The historic encounter between St. Joseph’s College and Royal College started in 1898 with St. Joseph’s College team captained by Henry De Silva while Royal College was led by F. A. Obeysekera.

St. Joseph’s College leads the tally with 28 to Royal College’s 23. In this year’s encounter, St. Joseph’s College is led by Shevon Daniel while Geshan Balasooriya leads Royal College.
