The traditional encounter between Nalanda College and St. Peter’s College resumed for day 2. In the meantime, De Mazenod College took on Maris Stella College in Negombo.

The Maris Stella batters responded well to De Mazenod College’s 188 as they got 283 runs courtesy of Skipper Kaveen Fernando’s 102.

De Mazenod batted well in the 2nd innings as they got 281/8 when the match ended in a draw on day 2.

Rusiru Vilochana fell 12 runs short of a magnificent double hundred as the Nalandians declare their 1st innings on 341/7, while Lakindu Sachin bagged 4 wickets for St. Peter’s College.

At the end of day 1, the home side were on 70/1 in just 12 overs.
