The Mercantile Hockey Association (MHA) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the 3rd Mercantile Hockey 9-A-Side Tournament, held on October 7th at the Air Force Hockey Grounds in Ekala.
This year’s event, made possible by the unwavering support of Swisstek Ceylon PLC as the dedicated title sponsor for the third consecutive year, marked another milestone in the celebration of hockey excellence in Sri Lanka.
The tournament displayed an extraordinary line-up of corporate hockey teams competing across four fiercely contested divisions:

In the A Division, Commercial Bank displayed exceptional skill to secure the championship, while Browns Group showcased their prowess in the B Division. Seylan Bank’s Jiffry Irshard and Nations Trust Bank’s Aravinda created an electrifying atmosphere in the C Division, and Sampath B clinched victory in the D Division after a tough game with Browns B, displaying unwavering determination.
