South Africa Emerging beat Sri Lanka Emerging by 22 runs in the third and final match

Sri Lanka A Emerging skipper and former Peterite Angelo Perera won the toss and invited the young proteas to take first lease of the wicket but it backfired as openers  Markram and White put on 78 runs for the first wicket before White was cleaned up by Chathuranga De silva for 39. Markram went on to make a brilliant 92 while Zubayr Hamza excelled once again, top scoring with an unbeaten 95 which came off just 102 balls. Sri Lankan bowlers managed to pull things back to some extent in the death overs but South Africa Emerging made a competitive 282/5 in their allotted overs with Kasun Rajitha and Akila Dananjaya picking up two wickets each.

In reply, Sri Lanka A Emerging lost two early wickets  before the middle order made a brilliant recovery led by the stylish right hander Dananjaya De Silva who made 72. The Sri Lanka A Emerging were well placed at 221/4 at the end of the 43rd over but the lower order collapsed quite badly loosing the last six wickets for just 39 runs and handed the South Africa Emerging a close 22 run win and also the series. For the South Africa Emerging, Corbin Bosch and Tshepo Moreki shared seven wickets between them.
