A one-time Sri Lanka XVs representative, Rahul De Silva was a standout in his college colours giving leadership to Welsey College in 2013. It was a glorious year for the Welsyites where the team led by De Silva went on to win the Milo President’s Trophy defeating Trinity College.

Making his way to professional rugby, Rahul was headhunted by CR & FC soon after his schools stint and was later contracted by Havelock Sports Club where he has played most of his rugby thus far.

The Longdon Place club has re-signed De Silva for the upcoming season. He was in action in the recently concluded Dialog Inter Club 7’s where CR & FC emerged 2nd leg winners defeating CH & FC in the final.
