Panadura SC vs Air Force SC

Gayan Sirisoma’s 7 wicket haul helped Panadura to gain the upper in their match against Air Force SC at Panadura. Air Force was bundled out for a mere 137 in just 34.4 overs thanks to a splendid spell by Sirisoma. Apart from two good cameos by Udyawansha Parakrama and Lakshan Fernando the Airmen struggled to get going in their first innings. At stumps on day 2, the visitors were 61 for 4 in their innings still trailing by 122 runs.

Yohan De Silva scored a brilliant unbeaten 143 to guide SLPA to 201 for 5 in their first innings against Kaluthara TC at Kurunegala. His knock included 9 boundaries and 5 maximums. He found good support from Hashan Gunathilake who scored 71 runs and together to put up 123 run opening stand for SLPA. With the ball for the boys from down south, Geeth Perera bagged 4 for 67.

Early on, Kaluthara was bowled out for 156 in their first innings.
