Colombo Cricket Club registered a convincing win over Panadura Sports Club to be emerged as champions of the SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2025.
Having been asked to bat first, Panadura Sports Club posted 172 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs with Vishen Halambage once again top scoring with a blistering knock of 73 runs off 37 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes.
Vishwa Fernando and Chathuranga de Silva were the pick of the bowlers for Panadura Sports Club as they grabbed 2 wickets each.
Colombo Cricket Club cruised to the target in 17.4 overs with the opening batter Lasith Croospulle notching up a stunning knock – 78 runs off 38 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes.
Croospulle won the player of the final award for his heroics with the bat in the title clash while Halambage who amassed 356 runs while picking up 9 wickets in 9 matches won the player of the tournament award.
