Five matches of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Premier League ended today(23). 

BRC vs Saracens 
Saracens held on to the most dramatic draw as they put up a stubborn resistance to make sure they only shared point with BRC who made a mammoth 453/8 declared batting first.
Saracens batted for 154 overs making 440/9 as they were 14 runs away from a dramatic first innings win, in one of the matches of the tournament so far.
Milinda Siriwardana starred for them with a century on day two, but it was the efforts of Ashen Bandara, Pramod Maduwantha and Saliya Saman that helped them pull of the heist on the final day.
Seamers Mohamed Shiraz and Hashen Ramanayake toiled hard to share 7 wickets between them, but at the end of day 3, almost 259 overs were bowled, 893 runs scored, 17 wickets lost and still there was no winner.

Chilaw Marians vs Moors SC

Chilaw Marians recorded their first outright win of the 2018/19 season when they thrashed a hapless Moors SC outfit by an innings and 95 runs.
Spin twins Nimesh Vimukthi and Sagar Udeshi were the stars with the ball for the winners as the duo picked up 8 wickets apiece in the match.
Moors in-fact lost 18 wickets in the day as they were first bowled out for 207 in their first innings after being 90/2 at close on day two.
Asked to follow-on, they fared much worse to be bowled out for 126 with Ramesh Mendis’ half century being the only noteworthy contribution.

Colts vs Negombo 
A superb century from Sangeeth Cooray made sure Colts secured first innings points, though they ended the day three wickets short of an outright win.
Colts went on to declare their innings at 275/6, setting Negombo 289 runs for an outright win.
Negombo didn’t back down as they decided to take the run chase on with Shehan Jayasuriya smashing 45 at the top of the order.
They eventually realized it was far from their reach as they made sure only first innings points were conceded as the match ended in a draw.

Badureliya vs SSC 
SSC secured vital first innings points in their match against Badureliya that concluded today(23).
Resuming on 289/5, SSC went on to make 429 all-out in reply Badureliya’s 372. Akash Senaratne and Krishan Arachchige made half centuries for SSC.
Badureliya ended the match on 222/4 in their second innings with Salinda Ushan and Nadeera Nawela making half centuries.

SLPA vs Ragama CC 
Sri Lanka Ports Authority finally got on to winning terms as they beat a high riding Ragama CC outfit on first innings.
Ragama CC who were in a commanding position at 177/1 when play began, crashed to 291 all-out with the Ports Authority spinners taking center stage.
Chanaka Komasaru’s four wickets were the main highlight but he got very good support from Ranesh Perera and Imesh Udayanga who shared five wickets between them.
Ramesh Nimantha continues from where he left for SLPA as he hit 60 runs in the second innings to follow up from his first innings century.
