Former Sri Lankan Fast Bowler Lasith Malinga has been appointed as the Fast Bowling Coach of the Mumbai Indians.
Malinga will take up the Fast Bowling Coach role at Mumbai Indians camp, replacing Shane Bond who held the same position for the past nine seasons.

Malinga, who won four IPL titles with the Mumbai Indians as a player (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019), retired in 2021 before joining the Rajasthan Royals as their Fast Bowling Coach.
This will be Malinga’s second stint with the Mumbai Indians support staff, as he had previously worked with them as a mentor in 2018.
