Kusal Mendis Named ODI & T20I Captain as Sri Lanka Pick Squads for West Indies

National Cricket Selection committee has selected Sri Lanka Test, ODI and T20I squads for their upcoming tour of West Indies 2026.

Wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis has been named as captain in both ODI and T20I squads with Kamindu Mendis named as his deputy.

Dhananjaya de Silva will continue to lead the Test squad, while Kamindu Mendis will serve as the vice-captain.

The tour will feature matches across all three formats — ODI, T20I, and Test cricket. The tour will begin with the ODI series, followed by the T20I and Test series.

The Sri Lanka team will depart for the West Indies tomorrow, 26th May.
