Sri Lanka Cricket has once again postponed the Major Club T20 Tournament and the Tier ‘B’ T20 Tournament due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions experienced across the country.
The two domestic competitions were originally scheduled to commence on 13th May. However, persistent unfavorable weather conditions forced the postponement of the tournaments ahead of their planned start.

Subsequently, Sri Lanka Cricket rescheduled both tournaments to begin on 22nd May. Despite the revised arrangements, the continued poor weather situation has compelled the governing body to postpone the competitions for a second time.
Sri Lanka Cricket is expected to announce new commencement dates for the tournaments in due course, depending on improvements in weather conditions across the island.
