Kanrich Finance ended the group stage of the MCA ‘B’ division unbeaten as they beat Singer in the final group stage game by 3 wicket while MAS Silueta finished the group stage on a winning note as they managed a close 3 wicket win over Seylan Bank.

Winning the toss and batting first Singer, propelled by Madawa Nimesh’s unbeaten 136 managed a competitive 272 for 6 in 50 overs. Umal Liyanage provided decent support scoring 68 for Singer. Dilesh Buddika (2/31) and Alankara Asanka (2/47) bagged 4 out of the 6 wickets, as they impressed in the bowling department for Kanrich Finance.
In reply Kanrich Finances’ Damith Priyadarshana scored a magnificent century (101) as he over shadowed Madawa Nimesh and propelled Kanrich Finance to their 4th win out of 4 games to remain unbeaten in the group stage.

Winning the toss and bowling first MAS Silueta failed to restrict Seylan Bank as they put on a reasonable total of 278 for 9 in 50 overs. Kanchana Gunawardana top scored as he made 99 falling short of a valiant century. Chanaka Wijesinghe made an excellent 73 as Subodha Sriyarathne scored a quick 30 to graft Seylan Bank to their total.
Kaushal Gajasinghe (63) and Denuwan Rajakaruna’s unbeaten 51 was sufficient even though MAS were made to work hard in their chase. Ishan Nilaksha and Angelo Jayasinghe chipped in with scores 39 and 37 respectively to guide MAS to a 3 wicket win.
