Sri Lankan all-rounder Kamindu Mendis is set to play for Mohammedan Sporting Club in Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2022/23.

This will be a great white-ball exposure for Mendis who will be able to play alongside Bangladesh national capped players such as Mahmudullah Riyadh and Imrul Kayes.
Mendis’ team Mohammedan Sporting Club is currently placed at the 5th position in the points table, having won 6 out of 11 games played so far in the tournament.

The 12-team List ‘A’ Cricket competition is played in round-robin format, which will be followed by the play-offs among the top six teams for the championship.
