Sri Lanka registered their second win in the Women’s U19 T20 Tri-Series in Pakistan 2026, defeating Bangladesh in the fifth match of the tournament.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bat first and posted 126/8 in their allotted 20 overs, with opening batter Achena Jannat top-scoring with a well-made 50.

For Sri Lanka, Chamodh Herath and Chamudi Praboda led the bowling effort with two wickets apiece to restrict Bangladesh to a manageable total.
Chasing 127 for victory, Sri Lanka made light work of the target, reaching the required total in the final over with six wickets in hand.
Opening batter Sanjana Kavindi was the standout performer with a brilliant match-winning knock of 90 runs off just 59 deliveries. Her innings featured 13 fours and 2 sixes, coming at an impressive strike rate of 152.54.
