Jaffna Central College will meet Asoka Vidyalaya, Colombo in the final of the Under 19 Division 2 Tier B inter Schools Limited Overs cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket at Bandaragama Cricket stadium tomorrow (15th December).
Jaffna Central College advanced to the quarter final as runner up of their group. Quarter final match between Jaffna Central College and Henegama ended without result, but the former advanced to the semi final by average points in the previous round against Henegama Central College.
Jaffna Central College beat P. De S. Kularathna College Ambalangoda in the semi final and entered the final.
Asoka Vidyalaya, Colombo advanced to the quarter final as 4th place of their group. They beat Christ King College, Ja Ela in the quarter final and advanced to the semi final.
Asoka Vidyalaya beat Kingswood College Kandy in the semi final and advanced to the final. Nishanthan Ajay will lead Jaffna Central College and Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo will be led by Umesh Caldera.
