Sri Lanka is set to tour Down Under in early 2019 for a two Test series which will also include a day-night Test at the ‘Gabba’ in Brisbane.

An ODI leg of the tour was initially planned for, but with the latest release of the schedule by Cricket Australia today (30th April), Sri Lanka will now only be involved in a two Test series which will begin with the day-night Test in Brisbane.

South Africa is set to tour Sri Lanka for two Test matches, five ODIs and a T20I in July and August…

The 2018-19 international summer of cricket in Australia will see them host New Zealand, South Africa, India and Sri Lanka for a total of 22 international matches across formats.

The second and final Test will be played in Canberra beginning on the 1st of February, after the first Test which will also be played across the Australia Day weekend from the 24th-28th January.

Sri Lanka are set to play their second day-night Test on their tour to West Indies in June 2018. They played their inaugural day-night Test against Pakistan in October 2017, while the ‘Gabba’ Test is set to be Sri Lanka’s third day-night encounter in the longest format.
