Sri Lanka is set to tour South Africa in February & March of next year to play 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is, Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced on Monday (23rd).

South Africa is set to tour Sri Lanka for two Test matches..

The tour will commence mid-February with the two Test matches scheduled to be played in Durban and Port Elizabeth followed by the all-important ODIs and T20Is.

Last time Sri Lanka toured South Africa (in 2016/17), the Proteas whitewashed the Lions in Tests (3-0) and ODIs (5-0) but the Lankans managed to win the T20I series, 2-1.

“We are pleased to announce the complete schedule of international cricket for our home season,” commented CSA Acting Chief Executive, Thabang Moroe.

South Africa are ranked second in the world in Tests and ODIs, but only sixth in T20Is.

The Proteas will tour Sri Lanka in July/August this year to play two Tests, five ODIs and a T20I.

2nd Test – February 21-25 – St. George’s Park, Port Elizabeth

1st ODI – March 3 – Wanderers, Johannesburg (Day)
2nd ODI – March 6 – SuperSport Park, Centurion (D/N)
3rd ODI – March 10 – Kingsmead, Durban (Day)
4th ODI – March 13 – St. George’s Park, Port Elizabeth (D/N)
5th ODI – March 16 – Newlands, Cape Town (D/N)

1st T20I – March 19 – Newlands, Cape Town (D/N)
2nd T20I – March 22 – SuperSport Park, Centurion (D/N)
3rd T20I – March 24 – Wanderers, Johannesburg (Day)
