Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) has decided to conduct final selection trials for the Asian Youth Athletics Championships (U18) in February.

The selection trials will be held on the 21st and 23rd February in Mahinda Rajapaksha Stadium in Diyagama.
The athletes who were born in the years 2006 and 2007 and fulfilled the recommended standards, can apply for this tournament.
Asian Athletics Association has released the following recommenced standards for the Asian Youth Championship which will be held in August in Uzbekistan.
