Sri Lankan swimmers returned to the island yesterday having established two national records at the Barcelona 2013 FINA World Championships concluded in Spain recently.
Ladies College won the overall championships of the National Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships 2013 concluded at the Sugathadasa Stadium Pool yesterday.
Joes and Mahamaya take honours
The Sri Lankan School’s diving championships took place on the 20-22nd of June at the Sughathadasa Stadium Swimming Complex.
The highlight of the second day was the competition each school put to topping the chart. This adds more heat to the table than anything else. The tents representing each school were on fire as their school mates were closing up to the finishing lines.
