The National Cricket Selection Committee has announced a 15-member SLC XI squad for the upcoming three-day warm-up match against India, which will commence tomorrow (7th August) at the NCC Grounds in Colombo.
National capped left-arm spinning all-rounder Sonal Dinusha has been appointed captain of the SLC XI for the fixture, which will serve as valuable match preparation for the visiting Indian side ahead of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.

The squad features several experienced national cricketers, including wicketkeeper-batter Nishan Madushka, promising middle-order batter Pavan Rathnayake, fast bowlers Lahiru Kumara and Vishwa Fernando, and off-spinner Ramesh Mendis.
The three-day encounter is expected to provide an opportunity for the selected players to impress against a strong Indian outfit while also helping the visitors fine-tune their preparations before the opening Test.
