D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo won the toss and opted to bat first at home in their group fixture against Nalanda College, Colombo. DS were dismissed for 116 runs in 49 overs, mainly due to a brilliant spell of bowling by Minod Kaldera who picked up a 5 wicket haul for 20 runs. For D.S.Senanayake, Manura Pieris top scored with 38 runs.
In reply Nalanda College Colombo were bundled out for just 102 runs in 29.2 overs. Manura Pieris who was the top scorer of the game picked up 6 wickets for 28 runs to complete a match he’ll remember for some time. The game ended with D.S 52 for 4 wickets in their second innings.

Mahinda and Dharmaraja managed to draw at Lake view park at Kandy. Dharmaraja opted to field first and Mahinda College put on a score of 194 for 4 wickets before declaring and putting Dharmaraja into bat. Danuja Induwara and Hiruna Mandila scored 80 and 44 runs respectively for Mahinda.
Dharmaraja replied with 178 for 8 at the end of the day ending the game in a draw. Vibhavith Ehalepola made 68 runs and Yasith Dissanayake put on an unbeaten 29 runs for the Rajans.

Mahanama College Colombo drew their Group P match against Tissa Central College in Kalutara. After having won the toss, Mahanama batted first to put on 256 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 55 overs. Kujana Perera scored a brilliant hundred while Kavindu Amameth chipped in with runs.
In reply Tissa Central replied with 225 runs for 6 wickets. Gimhan Silva and Sanjeewa Silva scored half centuries in the total of 225. Sandinu Kandage picked up 2 wickets for 39 runs.
