Young Silver Sports Club Wellawatta will be Celebrating their 35th Anniversary this year by conducting an All Island Veteran’s over 40 7-A-Side football tournament.

The tournament will be held on the 24th February 2019 from 9.00 am onwards at Cooray Play Ground Wellawatta.32 teams from all over the Island will take part in this 7-a-side tournament including a number of former National players who are still playing competitive football.Teams will play on a knock-out basis as the tournament will be concluded on the same day with a cash prize of Rs.75,000.00 for the Champion team and the Runner-up will be taking away Rs.50,000.00
Individual awards of Best Player and the Best Goal Keeper of the tournament will also take home Rs.5000.00 each.
