The 4th edition of the Qatar Ceylon Cup will get underway on the 16th of this month at Al-Jazeera Academy Abu Hmour, Doha.
The most anticipated category in the competition is the Veterans’ category, with six teams expected to participate.
Wolf Pack FC will enter the tournament as favourites, with star players Mohomed Fawzi, Mohomed Faizal and Mohomed Fazli joining the squad to defend their championship.
They will compete against Kottaramulla FC, Black Square FC, Puttalam Zahiriyans FC, Kalugamuwa FC and Kotahena Xpress FC joining from Sri Lanka.

In this edition, former Sri Lankan National Cap Mohomed Faris will manage the Kotahena Xpress Outfit, while former National Cap Mohomed Asmee, Mohomed Rishan, Preethika Caldera, Yasar Najimudeen, Mohomed Jwward, and Mohomed Fawmy will play key roles for the team from Kotahena.
This year’s edition will be one to watch out for. All supporters from Qatar are invited to cheer on the teams.
