Starting small, the Travel Trade Sports Club was formed with the intention of handling only two sports:  hardball cricket and football. In the span of forty years, the club has spread its wings by venturing into more sports such as beach volleyball, carom, archery, pool, swimming, badminton, table tennis, motor rallying, netball and tap rugby. It now stands tall as the only sporting body in Sri Lanka that organises twelve or more sports events within a year.
