The Colombo Hockey Association (CHA) successfully commenced their annual Men’s & Women’s Inter Club League Hokey Tournament 2014 at the Astro Turf, Colombo 07 on last weekend.
Men’s “A” Division consists of 07 teams, namely; CH & FC, BRC, Colts SC, Old Anandians, Gymkhana SC, Old Wesleyites & Old Peterites.
Men’s “B” Division consisted of 13 teams, namely; CH & FC, Old Royalists, Old Senanayakians, University of Moratuwa, University of Colombo, Kothalawala Defense Academy, Old Thomians – Mt. Lavinia, Old Anandians B, Old Nalandians, Old Hindu College, Old Thomians – Matale, Old Benedictines & AWD SC (A. William Dahanayake & Co.)
Women’s team consists of 04 teams, namely, Colts SC, University of Moratuwa, Young Ladies, AWD Sports Club (A. William Dahanayake & Co.)
Results of the matches played over the weekend are as follows;
- A. William Dahanayake & Co. SC beats Young Ladies by 01 point to nil
- Colts SC beats University of Moratuwa by 08 points to nil
- Old Anandians beat Old Wesleyites by 03 points to 01
- BRC beats Old Wesleyites by 03 points to nil
