Big Beaters 7’s – Sri Lankan Community Seven a Side Cricket Tournament (Season 1) is scheduled to be held on 6th (Friday) April 2018 at Ideal Indian School ground in Qatar. The tournament is open for Sri Lankan expatriates living in Qatar and the organizers anticipate a large participation of teams as the Sri Lankan community is one of the cricket loving communities within Football passionate Qatar.
This is a “Seven a Side” soft ball cricket tournament and to add more excitement to the event, the tournament is categorized in to Cup and Plate championship and winners of first round will move on to the cup category and the loses will move to the plate category. The tournament is organized by “Hilalians Organization Negombo” HCO Qatar, a social welfare association and the objectives of this event are to foster fellowship among the Sri Lankan community in Qatar, to provide educational facilities to the orphans and the underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
