Championship permutations

                        Round 6                                                                   Round 7

             Navy v Colombo FC                                                         Renown v Navy

             Army v Renown                                                              Colombo FC v Army

Though Navy are out of the title hunt, they do have the opportunity to spoil the party for two of the Championship hunters; that is Colombo FC and Renown.

If Colombo FC wants to win the Championship;

They need to win both their matches and hope Renown draw/lose to Army and lose to Navy.

If Renown wants to win the Championship;

They need to win both their matches and hope Army draws against Colombo FC or win against Army and draw Navy while hoping Colombo lose to Navy and draw Army.

If Army wants to win the Championship;

They need to win both matches. Win against Renown and draw Colombo FC or win against Colombo FC and draw Renown. Two draws against Colombo FC and Renown would also give Army the title. Army can afford to lose one match given that they win the other and the other two teams lose one match as well.

Goal difference, goals for and head to head record;

Will come into place if neither of the above permutations takes place and two teams are locked on equal points. According to the rules goal difference will be given first preference with goals for and head to head record following.
