Thurstan College demolished Dharmashoka College in a tier ‘B’ encounter as the Colombo school made a gigantic score of 357 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets.
Thurstan skipper Bawantha Jayasinghe led by example as the right-hander amassed 113 runs in just 54 deliveries with 9 massive sixes. His exuberant knock was well-supported with a steady 112 runs made by young Vihas Thewmika.
The Zahirian all-rounder, Raeed Rizwan brought up a classy hundred to take his team over the line against Ananda College.

In the bowling, Kushan Madusha of Mahinda College recorded figures of 4 for 20 against Dharmaraja College to earn his team a consolidating victory.
Niman Umesh of St. Peter’s College wrecked St. Anthony’s College with 4 wickets to his name as the Wattala school went down for 103 runs.
