Avishka Tharindu piles 429 against Lumbini
The traditional fixture between Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda vs D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo ended in a draw. D S Senanayaka innings was shortened to only 13 overs due to bad lighting.
The match witnessed some amazing all-round performances from Dharmasoka College’s Lohan de Zoysa as he secured a match bag of 10 wickets and piled 159 runs in 2 innings.
Senanayakians had a go at the 4th innings target of 219 runs as they raced on to 135 in just 13 overs, but it wasn’t enough for victory.
The Devapathiraja – St. Joseph Vaz battle was also concluded as a draw with Irushika Thimira staring with a 7-wicket haul.
Devaparhiraja college were in a trouble after handing a lead of 112 to the opposition but their batsman took the responsibility and batted long to save the match in the 2nd innings
