St. Sebastian’s, Prince of Wales, St. Thomas and Richmond beat Mahanama, Ananda, Isipathana and St. Anthony respectively to book their places in the Semi Finals.
The first quarter final saw Prince of Wales beat Ananda College in a closely contested game. Winning the toss and chose to field. The decision was a reasonably good one even though they conceded 224/6 in their 50 overs. Ravishan Pieris missed his century by a single run as he was dismissed for 99. Prince Fernando was the secong highest scorer as he knocked a sensible 65. Janith Randula picked 2 for 44 for Ananda College.
Chasing 225 Ananda College only managed 207 as they were bowled out in less than 50 Overs (in 48.2 Overs) Meranga Gamage top scored for Ananda with 85 while Kamesh Nirmal scored 43. Ravindu Jayasinghe and Suwath Mendis picked two wickets each for Prince of Wales.

The second Quarter final saw Mahanama College take on St.Sebastians College, Moratuwa. Winning the toss and batting first Mahanama, only could put on 111 on the board as they were bowled out in less than 35 overs.
St.Sebastians College, Moratuwa strolled to their target in 23.3 overs as they easily beat Mahanama to qualifi to the Semi finals.

Quarter final 3 saw S. Thomas College, Mount take on Isipathana College. S. Thomas scored 279/6 in their 50 overs. Yohan Perera top scored with 95 while Mohomad Ishak 45, Dineth Kannangara 34, Sithara Hapuhinna 33 all contributed to their cause. Ashen Jayashantha picked 3/31 for Isipahtan. Dinath Dissanayake also managed 2/49 in his 10 overs.
Chasing 280 Isipathana were bowled out for 138 in less than 40 as St. Thomas proceeded through to the Semi final.

In the final quarter final Richmond College beat St. Anthony’s College, Wattala by 84 runs to go through to the semifinal. Winning the toss and batting Richmond managed 237 as they were bowled out in 49.4 overs. Akash Kavinda and Raveesha Abishek scored half centuries in the process. Supun Jayasanka picked up 4 for 40 as he was the pick of the bowlers for Anthonys College, Wattala.
St. Anthonys College, Wattala was bowled out for just 153 in 41.4 overs. Sugeeth Nimnada and Adithya Siriwardena picked 7 wickets between them to destroy the Anthonian batting line up as they set up a sensational win for Richmond College.
