The Sri Lankan Girls’ Team qualified for the Final of the Billie Jean King Cup Junior Pre-Qualifying tournament at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts, Colombo, on 23rd February.
Ivanka Samarasinghe and Dinara de Silva once again stood out for Sri Lanka, registering a comfortable win (2-0) over Turkmenistan in the semi-final encounter of the tournament.

Samarasinghe defeated Sabrina Rahmanova with scores of 6-1, 6-1, while De Silva beat Ilima Guseynova with scores of 6-0, 6-1 in the Women’s Singles event to seal the Final clash against Kyrgyzstan.
