The Girls and Boys Teams of Sri Lanka managed to book their places in the quarter-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup Junior and Junior Davis Cup Asia Oceania Pre Qualifying tournaments played at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts on 21st February.
The Girls Team represented by Ivanka Samarasinghe and Dinara de Silva defeated Maldives Team 2-0. Samarasinghe beat Nishan Naba with scores of 6-1, 6-2 while De Silva clinched victory against Azim Araa Aasaal with scores of 6-2, 6-2 to mark straight wins in the singles.

The Boys Team represented by Ganuka Fernando and Lithum Jayabandu defeated Iraq Team 2-1. Fernando beat Shammama Faisac with scores of 6-1, 6-2 but Jayabandu lost his singles event against Bakr Akam with scores of 6-3, 6-2.

However, Fernando and Jayabandu managed to clinch the victory in the doubles event defeating Faisac and Akam with scores of 6-2, 6-1.
