The boys from Darley Road, St. Joseph’s College, once again asserted their dominance in the Schools Swimming arena for the 17th consecutive time, winning the Sri Lanka Schools All Island Age Group Aquatic Championships with 613 points.
The “swim as one” team attitude of the Visakhians saw them secure their 2nd consecutive win in this championship with 475 total points. This win marks the 8th title earned by Visakha Vidyalaya.

Joes Swimming is headed Ruwan Manawadu while Team Visakha is guided by Head Coach Shehaan Dias.
The champions of Inter-Internationals, Lyceum International School – Wattala, won the battle between Lyceums for the mixed school championships with 451.50 points. They are coached by Imran Mohamed.
St. Peter’s College with 402 points, Ladies College with 301.50 points, and Lyceum Nugegoda finished as runners-up in the boys’, girls’ and mixed categories, respectively.
