The Under 19 Division 1 Inter-Schools Tier A Two Day Cricket Tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association, is all set to commence with the participation of 18 teams.
The 18 teams are divided into 2 groups of 9 teams each and one team will face all the other 8 teams in the group in the round robin stage.

St. Peter’s College, Colombo and Lumbini College, Colombo who played in the Tier B segment last year, have found two slots in the Tier A segment this year after their promotion.
