Over 15 schools and clubs will come together for the 2018 relay championships; defending their titles, Visakha Vidyalaya and St. Joseph’s College will look to finish on top for the second year running.

The tournament will consist of 5 age groups starting from Under 11 all the way up to the 18 & Over open category. The two main events will be the 4x50m Medley Relay along with the 4×50 Freestyle Relay which will be swum in two rounds – the preliminaries leading to the final round.

In the Girls’ Segment Visakha Vidyala topped the rankings at last year’s championship with a total of 158 points. Lyceum International College, Wattala finished second with 134 points while Mahamaya Girls College Kandy finished close behind with 131 points.

Ananda College fell one point short of St. Joseph’s College with a 109-110 final score to finish second in the Boys’ segment last year. Lyceum International College Wattala and Nugegoda bagged 107 and 102 points respectively, finishing third and fourth.
