St. Aloysius’ College beat Vidyaloka College by 61 runs to clinch the 2nd Battle of the Glory of Galle yesterday (31st July), at Galle International Cricket Stadium.

Having won the toss, the Aloysius’ batters put on 200/9 in the 49-over encounter thanks to the useful contributions with the bat from Dineth Nimsara (40) and Induwara Udena (32).

Nimesh Aavinda was the pick of the bowlers for Vidyaloka College as he snared 3 scalps for 24 runs. In reply, Vidyaloka College posted 84/4 before the rain interrupted the play.
