Colts Cricket Club vs Lankan Cricket Club – Semi Final 02

After been put into bat first, Colts Cricket Club got off to a poor start, losing 4 quick wickets inside the first 10 overs for 61 runs, including the big fish of Santhush Gunathilaka (17).

The star all-rounder Dhananjaya Lakshan and Skipper Vishad Randika then built a valuable 93-run partnership for the 5th wicket in a rescue mission, but the rest of the batsmen could not contribute much with the bat as they were restricted for 189 runs in 43.1 overs.

Though 190 seems like a modest total on paper, the game went down to the wire, but Lankan CC managed to get the edge as they chased down the target in the 48th over with 3 wickets to spare.

The Skipper Damith Silva (41) and dashing left-hander Vishwa Chathuranga (33) top scored with useful contributions with the bat.
