The 16-member Sri Lanka Women’s National Cricket squad has been announced for the bilateral T20I series against West Indies Women’s Cricket Team.
The team is set to be led by their regular captain and experienced batter, Chamari Athapaththu. The veteran seamer Udeshika Prabodhani and the veteran spinner Inoka Ranaweera have been left out of the squad.
Anushka Sanjeewani, Achini Kulasuriya, and Hansima Karunaratne, who represented Sri Lanka in their victorious campaign at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier last month, have also faced the axe.
