Bangladesh captain, Tawhid Hirdoy, won the toss and elected to bat first on a batting-friendly NCC wicket, which happens to be a club for which their Head Coach Naveed Nawaz had represented.
Heavy rains brought an early close to the day as Bangladesh took major honours of the day. The visiting skipper, Tawhid Hirdoy led the way for them with an unbeaten half-century.
