The National Cricket Selection Committee has announced the Sri Lanka Under-19 squads for the upcoming India Under-19 Tour of Sri Lanka 2026, which will feature both One-Day and Four-Day series.
Royal College, Colombo’s Vimath Dinsara has been appointed captain of both the One-Day and Four-Day squads, while Kavija Gamage of Kingswood College, Kandy will serve as vice-captain for both formats.
The tour will comprise a three-match One-Day series followed by a two-match Four-Day series, providing Sri Lanka’s young cricketers with an excellent opportunity to test themselves against one of the strongest youth teams in world cricket.
The three One-Day matches will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota on 4th, 6th, and 9th July.
The action will then shift to the longer format, with the first Four-Day match scheduled to begin on 13th July at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, while the second Four-Day match will commence on 20th July at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
