Sri Lanka to play two warm-up games ahead of U19 Women’s T20 World Cup

The ICC has confirmed the warm-up fixtures for all 16 teams ahead of the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa in January.

Sri Lanka will play against UAE and Scotland in their two warm-up games which are scheduled to be held on the 09th and 10th January respectively.

Sixteen teams will compete in the two-week event across four venues in South Africa with 41 matches scheduled to take place. And the warm-up fixtures begin on January 9 and run for two days ahead of the first tournament match on January 14.

The teams will play across four venues in Gauteng during the two days of warm-up fixtures – St Stithians College, Steyn City School, Tuks Oval and Hammanskraal Oval.

Each team has two scheduled warm-up games, one on each day, ahead of the main tournament.
